Drawing notebooks

A sketchbook is generally designed for dry techniques like pencil, charcoal, or pastel, with more absorbent paper and a slightly more pronounced texture. A watercolor notebook has thicker paper treated to withstand water and pigments, preventing the paper from buckling.

For pencil drawing, a weight between 90 g/m² and 120 g/m² is generally sufficient. If you use intensive erasing techniques or soft pencils, slightly thicker paper might be preferable.
